Chess fabric: Braemar Concorde — N1052.

• Candle clip: 7.7cm top diameter × 14.5cm base diameter × 13cm high.
• 20cm Drum (18cm High).
• 30cm Drum (21cm High).
• 40cm Drum (25cm High).

Candle clip shades are available on White frames only. The 20cm, 30cm and 40cm drums are available on White or Vintage Gold frames. Select the shape, size, quantity option and frame colour when ordering.

Braemar is a fine herringbone weave rather than a windowpane or tartan check. All Braemar shades are sold individually, with no Matching Pair purchase option or matching premium. Order the number of singles you need. Natural yarn, weave and placement variations form part of the cloth's character.

Drums are cut on the straight of the weave. Candle clip fabric is positioned to complement the smaller tapered form. For six or more single candle clips, please contact us about a bundle quotation.

Drums: Fixed utility fitting for table or floor lamps, or ceiling pendants. Please tell us the required fitting position when ordering. The removable reducer gives a 29mm UK opening or a 40mm opening without the reducer. Compatible with B22, E14, E27 and E26 fittings using the appropriate adaptor.

Candle clips: Clip directly onto a suitable candle-shaped LED bulb for wall lights, chandeliers and small decorative lamps. Check the bulb shape and the space around your fitting before ordering.

Low-energy LED bulbs are recommended. The maximum recommended bulb for drums is 40 watts. Candle clips require candle-shaped LED bulbs; do not use halogen or incandescent candle bulbs. Keep the bulb clear of the lining, frame and fabric. Use indoors, away from naked flames. Switch off and allow the bulb to cool before adjusting or cleaning.

Each shade is handmade to order in our workshop using professional lampshade materials, a rolled-edge finish, matt white lining and a single neat seam. Natural variations in wool yarn, texture and weave are part of the fabric's character.

The lining is supplied to us as having passed the Glow Wire Test carried out by the Lighting Association of the United Kingdom. Please contact us if you require specific information about the fabric, lining or treatment for your shade.

Dust gently with a soft dry brush or cloth. Do not soak or use abrasive cleaners. Colours can vary with screens and lighting; a fabric sample is recommended where colour matching matters.
