The Balmoral Loch Lampshade brings softly layered tartan and traditional wool character to The Lakehouse.
Muted blue, stone and warm neutral lines form a relaxed tartan that coordinates with the plain Braemar Loch and the finer Kintyre Loch check.
Its gentle colouring makes it easy to place beside natural wicker, painted timber, leather and the botanical fabrics used throughout the room.

This lampshade is available in candle clip and standard drum shapes.
The candle clip option is designed for candle-style fittings and is available as a single lampshade or a carefully made pair. It is ideal for wall lights, chandeliers and small decorative lamps.
The standard drum option is available in 30cm and 40cm sizes. The 30cm drum is suited to smaller table lamps, bedside lamps and more compact room settings. The 40cm drum is suited to larger table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling pendants.

Our standard drum lampshades are made with a fixed utility fitting.
For table and floor lamps, the fitting is positioned for use on a lamp base.

Selected lampshades can be made with a US Spider Fitter / 1/2" washer circular lampshade ring for use with harp and finial fittings.
Please contact us before ordering if you need a US fitting, a non-standard fitting, or a different lampshade frame.
Bespoke orders may be available on request for different shapes and custom sizes.
Low-energy LED bulbs are recommended for all Berry & Grouse lampshades.
LED bulbs use less energy and remain cooler in use, helping to protect the lampshade, lining and surrounding surfaces.

Candle Clip Lampshades
Candle clip lampshades are suitable for candle-shaped LED bulbs only.
Do not use halogen or incandescent candle bulbs.
Always make sure the candle clip is securely attached to the bulb before use.
Safe Use Notes
- Use only with suitable indoor light fittings.
- Keep lampshades away from naked flames.
- Do not allow bulbs to touch the shade lining, frame or outer fabric.
- Do not exceed the recommended bulb wattage.
- Switch off and allow bulbs to cool before adjusting, cleaning or removing lampshades.

Our lampshade lining materials are supplied to us as having passed the Glow Wire Test, carried out by the Lighting Association of the United Kingdom.
Where appropriate, fabrics may also be treated after making with a water-based fireproofing spray.

Our candle clip lampshades are cut on the angle of the check, giving the smaller shade a tailored, characterful finish suited to candle-style fittings.
Exact placement may vary slightly depending on the fabric cut and size selected. Multiple shades ordered together will be made from the same fabric batch wherever possible.
