A softly tailored checked wool from the Chess collection, Kintyre Moss combines a warm moss and lichen ground with fine blue-grey and muted rust accents.
 
More restrained than a traditional tartan, the wider windowpane check allows the texture and colour of the cloth to take the lead, giving the finished lampshades a calm country-house character.
 
Featured within The Groom’s Room at The Tack Room, Kintyre Moss works naturally alongside aged leather, dark timber, antique brass and the deeper reds and greens found throughout the room.
 
Its softer palette also makes it particularly useful for introducing a traditional check without the stronger contrast of the Balmoral designs.
