Candle clip lampshades are designed to clip directly onto candle-shaped bulbs.

Selected lampshades can be made with a US Spider Fitter / 1/2" washer circular lampshade ring for use with harp and finial fittings.

Bespoke orders may be available on request for different shapes and custom sizes.
Low-energy LED bulbs are recommended for all Berry & Grouse lampshades.
LED bulbs use less energy and remain cooler in use, helping to protect the lampshade, lining and surrounding surfaces.

Always make sure the candle clip is securely attached to the bulb before use.
Safe Use Notes
- Use only with suitable indoor light fittings.
- Keep lampshades away from naked flames.
- Do not allow bulbs to touch the shade lining, frame or outer fabric.
- Do not exceed the recommended bulb wattage.
- Switch off and allow bulbs to cool before adjusting, cleaning or removing lampshades.

Our lampshade lining materials are supplied to us as having passed the Glow Wire Test, carried out by the Lighting Association of the United Kingdom.

HANDMADE AT THE FABRIC MILL
Each Braemar Clementine lampshade is handmade by Berry & Grouse using professional lampshade-making materials and carefully selected fabric from the Chess collection.
The herringbone is positioned with care around each shade, while natural variation in the woven design gives every finished piece subtle handmade character.
Drum shades are finished with a matt white lining, rolled edges and a single neat seam.
House Wool in Braemar Clementine is a checked fabric, so the direction and placement of the pattern will vary depending on the lampshade shape selected.
Candle clip lampshades are cut on the angle of the check pattern, giving the smaller shade a tailored, characterful finish suited to candle-style fittings.
Standard drum lampshades are cut on the straight of the check pattern, creating a more structured, classic check appearance across the shade.
Single and pair candle clip options are available. When a pair is ordered, both lampshades are made together using the same fabric batch wherever possible, so the pattern and colour are as closely matched as the fabric allows.
As each lampshade is handmade to order, we cannot guarantee that a future single, pair or drum order will exactly match a previous purchase. Where matching shades are required for the same room scheme, please order them at the same time.

Braemar Clementine is featured within The Groom’s Room at The Tack Room, where traditional checks, herringbones and tailored fabrics sit alongside leather, saddlery, dark timber and deeper sporting colours.
Its lighter clementine tone provides a softer counterpoint to the richer Fox Red, Fox Orange and claret shades within the room, while the herringbone weave keeps it firmly within the tailored Tack Room palette.
