Our lampshades are handmade to order in our workshop using professional lampshade materials.
Each lampshade includes:
- Rolled edge finish
- Smooth matt white lining
- Professional single seam construction
- 3.25mm gauge wire lampshade frame
- Epoxy coated frame finish
- Professional lampshade lining materials
Our lampshade lining materials are supplied to us as having passed the Glow Wire Test, carried out by the Lighting Association of the United Kingdom.
Where appropriate, fabrics may also be treated after making with a water-based fireproofing spray.
Fire-performance, environmental or fabric-specific claims are based on information supplied by the relevant manufacturer or treatment supplier.
Please contact us before ordering if you require specific fabric, lining, treatment or compliance information for a particular lampshade.

- Custom-made and bespoke lampshades are non-returnable unless faulty.

HANDMADE AT THE FABRIC MILL
Each Balmoral Clementine lampshade is handmade by Berry & Grouse using professional lampshade-making materials and 100% wool from the Chess collection.
The tartan is positioned with care around each shade, while natural variation in the woven pattern and the handmade process gives every finished piece its own subtle character.
Drum shades are finished with a matt white lining, rolled edges and a single neat seam.
