The Peony Arbour Lampshade brings gathered garden blooms and softly romantic colour to Margo’s Arbour within The Glass House at the Berry & Grouse Estate Rooms.
Beneath the arbour, peonies are gathered from the borders and arranged in generous clusters, their petals moving from soft blush and cream to deeper raspberry and rose. Sophie Allport’s floral design captures that freshly cut abundance, with rounded blooms and muted foliage set against a calm sage-green ground.
The pattern has the feeling of a garden bouquet rather than a formal floral repeat. Larger flower clusters are balanced by smaller buds and leafy details, creating a design that feels decorative, warm and full of character.
Within Margo’s Arbour, The Peony Arbour sits beautifully beside climbing roses, weathered garden furniture and softly painted woodwork. The sage background connects naturally with surrounding foliage, while the blush, cream and deep pink flowers introduce colour and depth.
Beyond the estate, this lampshade works especially well in bedrooms, dressing rooms, guest rooms, sitting rooms and quiet reading corners. Its soft green ground makes it easy to place with neutral furnishings, while the richer floral tones add warmth to understated interiors.
Each lampshade is handmade using Sophie Allport Peony fabric, with a professional rolled-edge finish, smooth matt white lining and considered single-seam construction.
