The Arbour Rose Lampshade brings the softer romance of a climbing garden rose to Margo’s Arbour within The Glass House at the Berry & Grouse Estate Rooms.
At the quieter end of the walled garden, pale roses gather against weathered brick and trail around the shaded entrance to the arbour. Sophie Allport’s softly illustrated blooms capture that gentle moment, with white roses, small buds and deep green leaves scattered across a muted blue-green ground.
The design feels calm and lightly nostalgic. Each rose spray has enough space around it to remain distinct, allowing the soft background colour to become an important part of the lampshade. Cream petals and darker botanical outlines add detail without making the pattern feel crowded or overly formal.
