The Tulip Border Lampshade brings the first generous colour of spring to The Flower Borders within The Glass House at the Berry & Grouse Estate Rooms.
 
Beyond the panes, tulips rise through the beds in loose, cheerful groups, bringing fresh colour to the walled garden after the quieter months. Sophie Allport’s painted tulips capture that moment beautifully, with pink, cream and deeper rose blooms held among soft green leaves on a light natural ground.
The design has a lively, open character. Each flower is large enough to show its individual brushwork and colour, while the scattered arrangement gives the fabric a relaxed garden quality rather than the formality of a tightly repeated floral.
 
Within The Glass House, The Tulip Border belongs among terracotta pots, pale stone paths and the fuller planting of The Flower Borders.
