The Garden Hedgehog Lampshade brings the quieter wildlife of the estate borders to The Garden Wall within The Glass House at the Berry & Grouse Estate Rooms.
Beyond the formal planting, where the old brick wall meets soft grasses and sheltered garden corners, small hedgehogs begin to appear beneath the leaves. This gentle design captures that quieter side of the estate garden, with softly illustrated hedgehogs resting among fine green grasses on a warm natural ground.
The fabric feels light, calm and easy to live with. Its neutral background allows the small wildlife details to stand out without making the pattern feel busy, while the soft greens and warm browns give the design a natural, understated character.
Within The Glass House, The Garden Hedgehog belongs along The Garden Wall, close to the quieter edges of the planting where wildlife finds shelter. The warm natural ground sits beautifully beside pale stone, wicker, weathered terracotta, aged timber and softly painted furniture, while the green and brown details complement our vintage gold coloured painted frame.
Compared with the deeper green and more atmospheric character of The Night Gardener, The Garden Hedgehog offers a lighter and softer interpretation of the same estate wildlife story. It is especially suited to interiors where a natural colour palette, gentle pattern and quiet country character are preferred.
Beyond the estate, this lampshade works beautifully in bedrooms, nurseries, garden rooms, hallways, reading corners and relaxed sitting rooms. It brings warmth and personality without feeling overly themed.
Sold individually. Choose from the currently available sizes: 20cm Diameter x 18cm High Drum. Select a table / floor lamp or ceiling pendant fitting for drum shades.
Each lampshade is handmade to order using Hedgehogs on Linen fabric, with a professional rolled-edge finish, smooth matt white lining and considered single-seam construction.
