Mulroy Natural is made from a cotton-based raw woven fabric with the softly irregular appearance of natural silk. Its oat and flax colouring has a quiet warmth, while the visible weave adds subtle texture without becoming rustic or heavily patterned.
The natural tone is easy to place alongside painted furniture, aged woods, florals, checks and layered country-house textiles. Warmer than Mulroy Bleached but still light and understated, it offers a softly structured finish for bedrooms, hallways, landings and relaxed living spaces.
Each shade is handmade by Berry & Grouse with a neat single seam, rolled edges and a smooth matt white lining. Candle Clip Lampshades are made on a discreet white frame, while our Drum Lampshades feature the Berry & Grouse signature vintage gold-coloured frame.

Our standard Drum Lampshades are made with a fixed utility fitting.
For table and floor lamps, the fitting is positioned for use on a lamp base.
For ceiling pendants, the fitting is positioned for use from a ceiling pendant drop.

Low-energy LED bulbs are recommended for all Berry & Grouse lampshades.
LED bulbs use less energy and remain cooler in use, helping to protect the lampshade, lining and surrounding surfaces.

Do not use a bulb above the recommended wattage.
Always ensure the bulb does not touch the lampshade lining, frame or outer fabric.
Candle Clip Lampshades
Candle Clip Lampshades are suitable for candle-shaped LED bulbs only.
Do not use halogen or incandescent candle bulbs.
Always ensure the candle clip is securely attached to the bulb before use.

Each lampshade includes:

Our lampshade lining materials are supplied to us as having passed the Glow Wire Test carried out by the Lighting Association of the United Kingdom.
Where appropriate, fabrics may also be treated after making with a water-based fire-retardant spray.

Each lampshade is individually handmade, and small differences are part of its character.

Where multiple lampshades are ordered in the same fabric, we use a continuation of the fabric placement where possible. Exact placement cannot be guaranteed because each shade is individually handmade.
We cannot guarantee that a future Single, Pair or Drum order will exactly match a previous purchase. Where matching lampshades are required for the same room scheme, please order them together.
Remove dust regularly using a clean, soft lampshade brush or the upholstery attachment of a vacuum cleaner on its lowest setting.
Do not use water, household cleaning products or chemical sprays.
Keep away from damp conditions, naked flames and direct sources of heat.
Always switch off the light and allow the bulb to cool fully before adjusting, cleaning or removing the lampshade.
Please check your selected lampshade size, fitting position and pack quantity carefully before ordering.
Standard lampshades may be returned in accordance with our Returns and Exchanges Policy. This does not affect your rights if an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described.
Bespoke lampshades made to custom measurements, shapes, frames or specifications cannot normally be returned for a change of mind.
