Vole was chosen as the grounding colour within The Shepherd’s Fleece collection. It provides warmth and depth while remaining softer than a conventional dark brown.

Shake the fleece outdoors regularly to release loose dust and help restore the natural loft of the wool. It may also be gently vacuumed using plain suction on a low setting, without a rotating brush.

Attend to small marks promptly using a clean, damp cloth and a little mild detergent. Avoid rubbing or saturating the wool or hide.

For a more thorough clean, particularly with dyed and tipped colourways, professional dry cleaning is recommended. Always follow the care label supplied with your fleece.

Allow to dry naturally away from direct sunlight, radiators and other sources of heat. Do not tumble dry.

Each Shepherd’s Fleece is a natural product. Differences in outline, dimensions, wool direction, density and colouring are part of its character and should not be regarded as faults.

The Shepherd’s Fleece collection is held in limited quantities and dispatched from Berry & Grouse.

Please allow approximately 3–5 working days for an in-stock fleece to be checked, prepared and dispatched. Tracking will be supplied when your order leaves us.

If your order contains products dispatched separately by another selected supplier, the items may arrive in more than one parcel.

Returns are accepted in accordance with our Returns Policy. Please contact Berry & Grouse before returning your fleece so that we can provide the correct instructions.

The fleece must be returned unused, undamaged and in its original resaleable condition. Natural differences in shape, dimensions, wool direction and colouring are characteristic of genuine sheepskin and are not manufacturing faults.

This does not affect your rights if the product arrives damaged or has been supplied incorrectly.

In the Glass House Pavilion

Place Vole over a lounger, daybed or timber bench and settle back beneath the evening sky. Its earthy colouring connects the sheltered interior of the Pavilion with the garden beyond.

At The Shepherd’s Hut

Use a pair across two wooden chairs or place a trio along a rustic bench. Vole works particularly well with hunter green, aged leather, willow and warm timber.

Around the Fire Pit

Carry the fleeces outside for dry autumn entertaining and place them over wooden American-style chairs. Keep every fleece well away from flames, sparks, embers and hot surfaces.

Through the House

A House Collection of Five can move between The Shepherd’s Hut, Boot Room, Glass House and Reading Room, providing a consistent earthy thread without requiring the fleeces to remain together.
