Light Oyster is lighter than beige and gentler than brilliant white. Its quiet natural colouring brings warmth to pale interiors without making them feel overly cream, coastal or carefully matched.

Each genuine sheepskin has a fuller 55mm long-wool finish and measures approximately 95cm long by 60cm across its widest point. Use one beside a bed or over a favourite chair, place a pair across neighbouring seats or build a more generous arrangement with an Estate Trio or House Collection of Five.

Every fleece remains separate, allowing the collection to be rearranged and moved throughout the house.

Berry & Grouse selected Light Oyster for its ability to bring softness to lighter rooms without the starkness of brilliant white.

The fuller long-wool finish adds generous texture, while its adaptable colouring sits naturally alongside weathered timber, washed linen, cane, stone, faded blue and quiet grey.

Naturally individual in colour and texture
Shake the fleece outdoors regularly to release loose dust and help restore the natural loft of the wool. It may also be gently vacuumed using plain suction on a low setting, without a rotating brush.

Attend to small marks promptly using a clean, damp cloth and a little mild detergent. Avoid rubbing or saturating the wool or hide.

For a more thorough clean, particularly with dyed and tipped colourways, professional dry cleaning is recommended. Always follow the care label supplied with your fleece.

Allow to dry naturally away from direct sunlight, radiators and other sources of heat. Do not tumble dry.

Each Shepherd’s Fleece is a natural product. Differences in outline, dimensions, wool direction, density and colouring are part of its character and should not be regarded as faults.
The Shepherd’s Fleece collection is held in limited quantities and dispatched from Berry & Grouse.

Please allow approximately 3–5 working days for an in-stock fleece to be checked, prepared and dispatched. Tracking will be supplied when your order leaves us.

If your order contains products dispatched separately by another selected supplier, the items may arrive in more than one parcel.

Returns are accepted in accordance with our Returns Policy. Please contact Berry & Grouse before returning your fleece so that we can provide the correct instructions.

The fleece must be returned unused, undamaged and in its original resaleable condition. Natural differences in shape, dimensions, wool direction and colouring are characteristic of genuine sheepskin and are not manufacturing faults.

This does not affect your rights if the product arrives damaged or has been supplied incorrectly.

Place Light Oyster among sun-bleached driftwood, chalky sandy neutrals and soft sea-mist greys. Lay one across a weathered bench or settle it into a cane chair without disturbing the lightness of the room.

Beside the Bed

A single Light Oyster fleece creates a soft landing for bare feet. A pair can be placed on either side of the bed, while a trio provides an additional fleece for a bedroom chair or ottoman.

In the Glass House

Carry Light Oyster into the sheltered Pavilion on a dry summer evening. Its pale colouring reflects the last of the daylight and sits quietly among glass, natural stone and whitewashed timber.

Around The Coast House

Use a House Collection of Five across several rooms: beside the bed, over a bench, within a reading chair and across occasional seating. Bringing the same colour into several spaces creates continuity without making the house appear overly coordinated.
