Always observe the maximum wattage and electrical information shown on the lamp fitting and product label.

Disconnect the floor lamp from the electricity supply before fitting or changing the bulb. Position it on a stable, level surface and keep the lamp, shade and cable away from moisture and direct heat.

Arrange the cable so that it does not cross a walkway or create a trip hazard.

CARE

Disconnect the lamp and allow the bulb to cool completely before cleaning.

Dust the resin base carefully with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, chemical furniture polish and excessive moisture, as these may damage the decorative timber-like finish.

Remove surface dust from the linen shade using a clean, dry lint roller or a very soft upholstery brush. Do not rub, soak or wet-clean the shade.

Move the floor lamp by supporting the base and stem securely. Do not lift or carry it by the shade, electrical fitting or cable.

This floor lamp is dispatched directly to you from our selected UK lighting supplier and may arrive separately from other items in your order.

Inspect the lamp promptly after delivery and retain all protective packaging until you are satisfied with it. If it arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, contact Berry & Grouse as soon as possible and provide photographs of the lamp and its packaging.

Returns are accepted in accordance with our Returns Policy. The lamp must be returned complete, unused, unassembled where reasonably possible and in its original protective packaging unless it is faulty.

Seraphia was selected for the natural height it brings to The Coast House without introducing visual weight.

Its warm, timber-like finish sits comfortably among sun-bleached boards, weathered furniture, willow, cane and washed linen. The gently detailed stem gives it more character than a plain standard lamp, while the neutral shade allows it to remain calm within the lighter Coast House palette.

The lamp works particularly well where table space is limited or where a room needs light at a higher level. Place it beside a chair, at the end of a sofa or between a window and a small reading table to create a quiet pool of evening light.

Although chosen for The Coast House, its restrained traditional form also allows it to travel naturally into The Drawing Room, Reading Room or a relaxed guest bedroom.

At The Coast House

Position Seraphia beside a linen armchair or relaxed sofa, allowing its timber-toned base to sit among washed blue, oyster wool and weathered wood. The floor lamp introduces height without disturbing the room’s light, informal character.

 

In a Reading Corner

Place the lamp behind or just beside a generous chair, leaving sufficient space around the shade. Add a small timber table, a folded wool throw and a few well-chosen books rather than filling the corner with decoration.

 

Beside a Window

Its tall silhouette works particularly well between a window and a low piece of furniture. During the day, the textured finish responds gently to natural light; in the evening, the linen shade provides a warmer surrounding glow.

 

In The Drawing Room

Carry Seraphia into a more formal room beside an upholstered chair or at the end of a sofa. Its traditional proportions work comfortably with antique timber, aged brass, natural wool and quieter patterned fabrics.
