At 70cm high, the Savoy has enough scale to hold its own on a substantial bedside table, console or drawing-room side table, while the transparent glass keeps its presence visually light. Gold-finished detailing brings warmth through the centre of the lamp, softened by the simple neutral linen shade above.
It is the sort of lighting piece that moves easily through the Estate. In The Master Bedroom, the clear glass and gold sit naturally with softly lustrous satins, antique finishes and layered ivory linen. In a hall or drawing room, its height gives a console or side table greater presence without introducing another strong colour or heavy material.
