This lamp was selected for its ability to bring softer light to areas of the home that are often treated as purely practical.
Its whitewashed finish has enough texture to hold its own against marble, stone and painted furniture, while the linen shade sits naturally among cottons, woven baskets and quieter household textiles.
We first placed it within The Linen Cupboard, where its warm glow prevents a functional room from feeling forgotten. Its restrained design, however, gives it a much wider place across the Estate—from kitchen countertops and bedroom dressers to sideboards, landings and home offices.
ESTATE STYLING
In The Linen Cupboard
Place the lamp at one end of a marble or stone countertop among folded linen, cotton towels and woven storage. The linen shade continues the room’s textile story while bringing warmth to its practical surfaces.
In the Kitchen
Use it in a dry corner of a generous countertop, away from sinks, hobs and food-preparation areas. Its softly diffused light creates a gentler atmosphere once the main kitchen lighting is no longer required.
On a Sideboard
Its 74cm height gives the lamp sufficient presence for a substantial sideboard or console. Pair it with framed artwork, a small group of books, an organic ceramic vessel or a simple arrangement of seasonal foliage.
In the Bedroom
Position it on a broad bedside cabinet, dressing table or chest of drawers. Its pale base and linen shade work particularly well with washed bedding, painted furniture and softly patterned textiles.
In a Hallway or Study
Use the lamp to soften a console, writing desk or quiet landing corner. Its neutral palette allows it to sit comfortably beside both traditional and contemporary furnishings.
