The William Morris Willow Bough Azure Lampshade brings the gentle movement of the willow-lined riverbank into The Lake House at the Berry and Grouse Estate Rooms.
Along the quiet approach to the lake, mature willow trees lean towards the water, their slender branches following the slow current below. Willow Bough captures that same natural rhythm through sweeping leaves, winding stems and a beautifully balanced repeating pattern.
The Azure WMP026 colourway features softly layered blue willow leaves with fine natural-toned stems across a pale ground. Calm and quietly decorative, it reflects the blue-grey tones of the water as the river reaches the lake.
The design feels detailed without becoming heavily floral, making it particularly well suited to interiors that favour gentle pattern, natural colour and a relaxed sense of heritage. Azure works beautifully with painted furniture, aged timber, soft neutrals, antique brass and deeper blue or green accents.
Within The Lake House, Willow Bough belongs beneath the trailing branches beside the riverbank, close to the wooden rowing boat and the quiet water beyond. Its flowing structure sits naturally alongside mallard prints, angling references, traditional woods and the softly layered colours of an inland lake.
Beyond the estate, this lampshade works beautifully in bedrooms, sitting rooms, studies, hallways, reading corners and relaxed country interiors.
Willow Bough is also available in Sage WMP023, Natural WMP025 and Rust WMP024, allowing the same distinctive design to move across softer green, neutral and warmer interior schemes.
Choose a single candle clip lampshade for wall lights, chandeliers and small decorative lamps, or a single 20cm, 30cm or 40cm drum for table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling pendants. All sizes are sold individually.
Each lampshade is handmade to order using licensed William Morris Willow Bough Azure cotton panama fabric. Candle clip lampshades are made using white candle clip frames, while standard drum lampshades are finished with your choice of a vintage gold coloured utility frame or a white utility frame.
Every shade is completed with a professional rolled-edge finish, smooth matt white lining and considered single-seam construction.
