The Beekeeper Cushion brings the softer colours of The Garden Wall to The Potting Bench Finds within The Glass House at the Berry & Grouse Estate Rooms.
Beyond the glass, bees move between herb beds, fruit blossom and the flowers growing along the old garden wall. This characterful cushion combines Sophie Allport’s familiar bees with the quiet order of a traditional green stripe, bringing together two patterns that feel naturally at home within the estate garden.
The front panel is made using Sophie Allport Bees Sage fabric, featuring softly illustrated bees scattered across a pale green ground. The muted sage colour gives the design a calm and versatile character, while the warm yellow and cream details bring a gentle note of garden life.
The reverse is made using Wrendale Green Stripe fabric. Its narrow green stripes give the cushion a more tailored finish and provide a quieter alternative when the cushion is turned around. Together, the two sides create a piece that feels playful from the front and softly structured from the back.
Within The Glass House, The Beekeeper Cushion belongs along The Garden Wall, styled beside wicker, painted garden furniture, pale timber and botanical greens. Although it may be photographed on an outdoor chair as part of the estate story, this cushion cover is designed for indoor use only.
The cushion cover measures approximately 18 × 18 inches, or 45.72 × 45.72cm. It has an unpiped edge and a concealed zip opening. This final piece features an earlier Berry & Grouse zip construction, which differs from the finish used on our current cushion collection.
The cushion is sold as a cover only, allowing you to select your preferred synthetic or natural-fibre filling. Cushion inserts are available separately.
