The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a global organisation and is the largest cotton sustainability programme in the world, with the main aim of transforming cotton production worldwide by developing better cotton as a sustainable mainstream commodity.

Reducing the environmental impact of cotton production, improving livelihoods and economic development in cotton production areas, improving commitment to and flow of better cotton throughout the supply chain and for the sector's future.
