The Reedbank Mallard Lampshade brings the quieter character of the water’s edge into The Lake House.
Small mallard ducks stand among tufts of grass across a natural linen-look ground, creating a relaxed country pattern inspired by reed beds, bullrushes and the sheltered banks surrounding the Estate lake. Green heads, warm brown plumage, ochre beaks and soft grassy details give the fabric colour and character without overwhelming the room.
The evenly spaced all-over design works beautifully across every lampshade size. On candle clip shades, the smaller mallards create a charming and closely detailed finish, while the larger drum sizes allow the repeated lakeside scene to travel naturally around the shade.
The Reedbank Mallard sits comfortably alongside blue herringbones, Highland wools, natural wicker, aged timber and the Willow Bough collection found throughout The Lake House.
Beyond the Estate, it is particularly suited to bedrooms, studies, boot rooms, country kitchens and relaxed sitting rooms.
The fabric is a substantial 200gsm blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester and is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.

Each lampshade is handmade to order in our Lincolnshire workshop with a smooth matt white lining, professional rolled-edge finish and clean single-seam construction. Candle clip lampshades use white frames, while standard drums are made with our signature Vintage Gold utility frames.
