A warm country check woven through with oatmeal, cream, stone grey and soft biscuit, this pure-wool cloth brings pattern and natural texture together beautifully.
The generous check gives the lampshade a confident but relaxed presence. On the 30cm drum, the lines form a tailored band of colour; across the smaller candle-clip shades, the pattern creates a softer and more individual composition. Both formats feel comfortably at home beside old timber, stone walls, aged metal and natural linen.
Oatmeal Check belongs to our limited Shepherd’s Wool collection, made from the final pieces of wool cloth held in our Fabric Room. Only one candle-clip pair and two 30cm drums can be produced.
Its blend of warm and cool neutrals makes it particularly easy to coordinate with The Shepherd’s Fleece. We would pair it with Oyster, Beige Tip or Ivory Brown Tip, allowing the checked wool and long fleece to add different layers of texture within the same natural palette.
Each shade is individually handmade in our UK workshop and finished with neatly rolled edges, a professional single seam and a smooth matt white lining.
