The traditional herringbone weave gives the cloth depth and movement while retaining an understated, elegant appearance. It brings the character of heritage wool into the room in a way that feels refined rather than rustic—particularly beautiful against warm plaster, old timber and aged-brass wall lights.

Stone Herringbone works particularly well with the cooler natural shades of The Shepherd’s Fleece. Pair it with Dove Grey, Vole or Ivory Grey Tip to build a softly layered scheme of grey, cream and natural wool.
Both candle-clip lampshades are individually handmade in our UK workshop and finished with neatly rolled edges, a professional single seam and a smooth matt white lining.
