The deepest shade within our Shepherd’s Wool collection, Charcoal Herringbone combines dark grey, softened black and earthy beige in a richly textured pure-wool cloth.
The darker colouring brings definition and atmosphere, while the subtle herringbone detail prevents the fabric from appearing flat. Once illuminated, warmer biscuit and stone undertones emerge through the charcoal, creating a shade that feels particularly inviting during the darker months.
Made from one of the final wool lengths held in our Fabric Room, this is an exceptionally small edition. Only one pair of candle-clip lampshades and two 30cm drums can be created before the cloth is gone.
Charcoal Herringbone pairs naturally with our Estate Grey sheepskins. Style it with Pewter for a deep, tonal scheme, with Vole for warmer contrast, or with Dove Grey to soften the overall look. Aged brass, dark timber and warm plaster complete the quietly layered Shepherd’s Hut palette.
Each lampshade is individually handmade in our UK workshop and finished with neatly rolled edges, a professional single seam and a smooth matt white lining.
