The Coast House Handcrafted Shell Globe Lamp is made by artisans in Indonesia using natural seashells arranged over a formed globe.

Because natural shells are used and each lamp is assembled by hand, differences in shell shape, tone, texture and placement should be expected. These variations form part of the character of the finished piece and mean that no two lamps will be exactly alike.

Place on a stable, level surface away from edges. Natural shells can be delicate, so move and handle the lamp carefully.

Keep away from water, excessive moisture, direct heat and open flames.

Dust gently using a clean, soft and dry cloth. Do not use abrasive products or chemical cleaners on the shells.

Use only the bulb type and maximum wattage stated on the product, packaging or supplied instructions. Always switch off and disconnect the lamp before changing the bulb or cleaning.

Do not use if the cable, plug, fitting, globe or supporting structure becomes damaged.

This handcrafted lamp is dispatched directly from one of our carefully selected suppliers.

Please allow approximately 1–2 working days for dispatch. The 20cm lamp is a larger, carefully packaged piece and may be dispatched using a courier service.

Where it is ordered alongside pieces supplied directly by Berry & Grouse or another selected supplier, your order may arrive in more than one parcel.

Allow the shell globe to remain the principal feature of the arrangement.

The 15cm lamp works beautifully on a bedside table, narrow console or within generous shelving. The 20cm globe has greater presence and can be placed on a living-room side table, entrance console or marble-topped cabinet.

Style it with pale timber, sea glass, soft blue-grey walls and one or two natural coastal objects. Avoid overly themed accessories: the real shells already provide the connection to the shoreline.
