  • Avoid letting items become heavily soiled.

  • Never apply detergent directly to fabrics.

  • Use non-biological detergents free from bleach, optical whiteners, and enzymes.

  • Spot clean lampshades, waste paper bins, and PVC items with a damp sponge only. Do not use a vacuum on these products.

    🔥 IRONING

  • Iron on a cool or steam setting while fabric is slightly damp.

  • Washing Whites

    🤲 HAND WASHING

  • Fully dissolve detergent in water before adding fabric.

  • Do not rub or scrub fabrics excessively, as this can damage fibres and cause colour fading.

  • Clothes Line

    🌬️ DRYING

  • Line drying is recommended to minimise creasing.

  • If tumble drying is allowed:

    • Use a low heat setting

    • Do not over-dry

    • Reshape while damp to maintain form

  • Glow

    FADING

    • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent colour fading.

    • Frequent washing, over-drying, or using harsh detergents can accelerate natural fading.

Natural fading of the fabric will occur overtime, this can be accelerated with excessive washing, washing heavily soiled items, washing items at higher temperatures, washing items incorrectly using whitening or bleaching agents, over drying and direct sunlight.

🔥 Fire Safety & Flame Retardant Information

All applicable fabrics are treated with a non-toxic, water-based fireproofing spray. This solution interrupts the burning process and forms a protective carbon barrier, making the fabric more resistant to flames.

  • Dry Clean Durability: Flame retardant treatment lasts approximately 3–4 dry cleaning cycles. Re-treatment is recommended thereafter.

  • Safe for most natural and synthetic materials including lampshades, cushions, and upholstery.

  • Our cushion inserts meet UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations.
