The Larkspur Silver Lampshade brings a quiet, decorative layer of William Morris pattern to The Reading Room.
Intricate flowers, curling stems and sweeping foliage are picked out in soft silver-grey against a pale ground, giving Larkspur a beautifully restrained character. The muted colourway allows the detail of the historic botanical design to take centre stage without becoming overpowering.
This is a closely layered Larkspur print on lightweight 150gsm cotton, digitally printed with an extra-soft handle. Its detailed repeat works particularly well across smaller lampshades, while the larger drum sizes allow more of the flowing floral pattern to travel around the shade.
Silver sits naturally alongside aged oak, dark timber, leather, antique brass, books and warm plaster tones. Within The Reading Room, it introduces pattern without disturbing the quieter, collected atmosphere of the space.
