Inspired by the dragonflies found in Sophie Allport’s own garden, this striking design captures their slender bodies and delicate paired wings against a rich midnight-blue ground.
The contrast gives the fabric a crisp, elegant character. Pale dragonflies appear to move across the darker background, creating a cushion that feels decorative and distinctive without becoming overly busy.
Both the front and reverse are made using coordinating Sophie Allport Dragonfly fabric, allowing the design to continue around the cushion. The plain, unpiped edge keeps the finish simple and tailored, while the zip opening at the base allows the cover to be removed easily.
Within The Glass House, this cushion connects naturally with The Glass House Dragonfly Lampshade, carrying the same summer-garden story across lighting and soft furnishings. It sits beautifully beside wicker, pale timber, soft botanical greens and deeper blue interiors.
