This dedicated collection brings together Dove Grey, Silver Grey and Graphite — the same three House Velvet shades used across our coordinating piped scatter cushion collection for The Guest Room.

From the light softness of Dove Grey through cooler Silver Grey to deeper Graphite, the palette has been chosen to sit naturally with whitewashed wood, pale linen, aged stone and the clean soft-grey walls used throughout the room.

Each lampshade is handmade to order in our workshop using House Velvet fabric and finished with a smooth matt white lining, rolled edges and a considered single seam.

Each drum lampshade is sold individually. Choose from three sizes for bedside lamps, table lamps, floor lamps or ceiling pendants, with a choice of Vintage Gold or White frame.

VELVET COLOUR

Velvet responds naturally to light and touch. Its appearance may become lighter or deeper according to the direction of the pile, the lighting within the room and the angle from which it is viewed.

Screen settings can also affect colour reproduction. A fabric sample is recommended where precise colour matching is important.
Every House Velvet Drum Lampshade is handmade to order in our workshop using professional lampshade materials.

Each shade has a smooth matt white lining, rolled edges, considered single-seam construction and a 3.25mm-gauge epoxy-coated wire frame. Our lining materials are supplied as having passed the Glow Wire Test carried out by the Lighting Association of the United Kingdom.

Each listing quantity is one lampshade. Select the colour, size and frame finish, then use the quantity selector if you need more than one. Free UK delivery is included.

Where coordinating lampshades are required for the same room, ordering them together helps us make them at the same time using the same fabric batch wherever possible.

PLEASE NOTE
Every shade is handmade to order. Velvet colour varies slightly between screens and lighting, and the pile can look lighter or darker depending on its direction. Please check size, fitting position and quantity carefully. Made-to-order and bespoke lampshades are non-returnable unless faulty.
These three greys were selected to coordinate with the House Velvet scatter cushions used throughout The Guest Room.

Dove Grey creates the softest, lightest finish; Silver Grey introduces a cooler mid-tone; and Graphite adds depth and contrast. Use a single colour throughout the room or layer two or three tones for a quieter tonal scheme.

They sit particularly well with whitewashed wood, pale natural linen, aged stone, softly distressed mirrors and the clean grey-and-white palette of The Guest Room.
