Small

A compact vessel for a single air plant, a small moss arrangement or a few carefully chosen stones. Its smaller proportions make it suitable for shelves, windowsills and compact garden-room displays.

Wide

A broader bowl with room for a more layered botanical arrangement. Style it with a small group of air plants, woodland-toned moss or several natural decorative elements.

Large

The most substantial of the three sizes, offering a stronger table-top or sideboard presence. Its wider glass form is particularly effective filled with a collection of air plants or displayed as a sculptural object in its own right.

Discarded bottle glass is heated and shaped over a naturally formed piece of Gamal wood, allowing the softened glass to settle around the contours of its individual base.

This process creates a close relationship between the two materials: translucent green glass above and warm, irregular timber beneath. Bubbles, slight ripples and variations in thickness may be visible within the glass, while the wood may differ in shape, grain, colour and texture.

These are not manufacturing faults. They are natural characteristics of the handmade process and ensure that every finished piece has its own form.

The vessel is supplied empty. Air plants, moss, succulents, stones and all other decorative contents shown in styled imagery are not included.

Handle the glass and wooden base together and support the piece securely when moving it.

Clean the glass carefully with a soft, lightly dampened cloth, then dry immediately. Dust the wooden base with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or harsh chemicals.

Do not place in a dishwasher or immerse the complete piece. Avoid sudden changes in temperature, which may place stress on handmade glass.

If styling with a succulent or other rooted plant, retain it within a suitable discreet inner pot or container. Plants should not be planted directly into the decorative glass bowl.

Place on a stable, level surface away from vulnerable edges. Natural wood may mark delicate furniture, so use a discreet protective pad where appropriate.

This is a decorative object rather than food-service glassware, a candle holder or a toy. Keep away from children and handle carefully.

Natural variation

Every bowl is made by shaping recycled glass over an individual piece of natural wood.

The glass shape, colour, bubbles and surface character will vary, as will the dimensions, grain, contours and tone of the wooden base. The item received will therefore not be identical to the example photographed.

These variations are an essential part of the design and make every bowl a unique piece.

Style the Small bowl with one sculptural air plant and a restrained layer of moss. Use the Wide bowl for a softly gathered arrangement of different green textures, or position the Large bowl at the centre of a potting table or sideboard with several air plants arranged as though collected beneath glass.

Pair the green glass with aged terracotta, whitewashed timber, charcoal accessories and natural stone. The effect should feel gathered and botanical rather than overly arranged—the colours and textures of a woodland walk brought inside.
