As summer gives way to autumn, the Estate hedgerows deepen into damson, black-red and burnished green. It is this richer point in the season that inspired The Estate Hedgerow Berry Wreath.
Dense clusters of dark artificial berries are gathered amongst restrained green leaves and arranged around a woven base. The berries move between black, burgundy and deep red, creating a wreath with considerably more depth than a bright seasonal arrangement.
Its colouring feels particularly natural to Berry & Grouse: reminiscent of fruit gathered from the Estate hedgerows and chosen to sit comfortably alongside aged timber, dark painted doors, antique brass and weathered stone.
Hang it on a sheltered entrance door to bring warmth to the approach to the house, or use it indoors above a console, on a panelled wall or against the quiet plaster tones of the Hall & Hearth. Although especially suited to autumn and winter, its restrained colour makes it easy to live with beyond a single season.
The wreath arrives ready to display. Gently arranging the leaves and berry stems after unpacking will restore its full, naturally irregular shape.
