The Beatrix Lamp Base in Antique White has a traditional turned silhouette and softly distressed finish that gives it the character of a piece collected for the house rather than something overly new.
At 44cm high, it is a particularly useful size for sideboards, console tables and smaller pieces of furniture where you want ambient light without an overly dominant lamp.
Its antique-white finish makes it exceptionally easy to pair with colour. In The Dining Room, we particularly like it beneath one of our deeper Berry & Grouse shades — from rich navy velvet for late-evening suppers to softer French and mist greys for a lighter scheme.
Use a single lamp to soften a corner, or position a pair at either end of a sideboard or console to create an easy sense of symmetry.
