Handmade to order in the UK, each lampshade is individually crafted using premium pure wool and finished with a smooth matt white lining for a clean, professional finish. Available across a selection of classic lampshade styles, Balmoral Clementine brings warmth, texture and understated country elegance to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Its rich woven palette pairs beautifully with natural timber, antique brass, aged leather and heritage furnishings, making it equally at home throughout the Estate while sitting naturally within The Tack Room, where its warm clementine tones evoke the comforting atmosphere of autumn afternoons, polished saddlery and country houses.

Our lampshades are designed to work with most standard UK, EU and US lamp fittings.

Each lampshade is constructed using a Vintage Gold utility frame with a 40mm European fitting and is supplied with a removable adaptor ring, allowing easy adjustment between fitting types.

Fitting Position:

• Table & Floor Lamps – fitting positioned at the bottom

• Ceiling Pendants – fitting positioned at the top

Low-energy LED bulbs are recommended for all Berry & Grouse lampshades.

LED bulbs use less energy and remain cooler in use, helping to protect the lampshade, lining and surrounding surfaces.

Standard Drum Lampshades

Recommended bulb type: LED bulb
Maximum recommended bulb: 40 watts

Do not use bulbs above the recommended wattage.

Always ensure the bulb does not touch the lampshade lining, frame or outer fabric.

Candle Clip Lampshades

Candle clip lampshades are suitable for candle-shaped LED bulbs only.

Do not use halogen or incandescent candle bulbs.

Always make sure the candle clip is securely attached to the bulb before use.

Safe Use Notes

Use only with suitable indoor light fittings.

Keep lampshades away from naked flames.

Do not allow bulbs to touch the shade lining, frame or outer fabric.

Do not exceed the recommended bulb wattage.

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool before adjusting, cleaning or removing lampshades.

Our lampshade lining materials are supplied to us as having passed the Glow Wire Test, carried out by the Lighting Association of the United Kingdom.

Where appropriate, fabrics may also be treated after making with a water-based fireproofing spray.

Our drum lampshades in Balmoral Wool are cut on the straight of the check pattern, creating a structured, classic check appearance across the shade.

Our candle clip lampshades are cut on the angle of the check pattern, giving the smaller shade a tailored, characterful finish suited to candle-style fittings.

Each lampshade is handmade to order. As with all patterned fabrics, the exact placement of the check may vary slightly from shade to shade depending on the fabric cut and size selected.

Where multiple shades are ordered together, they will be made using the same fabric batch wherever possible for the closest pattern and colour continuity. As each lampshade is handmade to order, we cannot guarantee that a future order will exactly match a previous purchase.

Ordering Quantities

Our candle clip lampshades and 20cm drum lampshades are sold as sets of 2, as these smaller formats are most often used in matching pairs. For these options, quantity 1 equals one set of 2 lampshades.

Our 30cm and 40cm drum lampshades are sold individually. Use the quantity selector if you require more than one. If ordering more than one for the same room scheme, we recommend ordering them at the same time so they can be made together for the closest possible fabric, colour and pattern continuity.
