The hessian lining helps contain and protect the contents but is not waterproof.

Avoid placing saturated towels, wet swimwear or other heavily damp items directly into the basket for prolonged periods.

Contents and styling accessories are not included.

The Estate Carrying Basket is intended primarily for indoor use and occasional sheltered outdoor use in dry conditions.

• Store indoors or in a dry, well-ventilated place
• Wipe the willow gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth
• Brush loose dust and debris from the hessian lining
• Allow the basket to dry naturally if it becomes lightly damp
• Do not soak or pressure wash
• Do not use harsh chemical cleaning products
• Avoid prolonged exposure to rain, damp or standing water
• Avoid prolonged strong sunlight and direct heat
• Do not leave permanently outdoors
• Avoid storing wet laundry or saturated textiles inside
• Carry only loads that can be comfortably supported by the basket and handle

The rope handle is designed for carrying normal household contents. Avoid excessive loading or using the basket to carry unusually heavy objects.

Natural Willow

Willow is a natural material and part of the appeal of The Estate Carrying Basket lies in the small differences from one piece to another.

Variations in willow thickness, colour, surface texture and weave are to be expected. The antique wash finish also creates subtle differences in tone across the basket.

These characteristics are not considered faults; they give each piece the relaxed and individual appearance associated with naturally woven willow.

The hessian lining and rope handle may also show slight variations in colour and texture.
